CHC Addiction Services is proud to present its 2019 training series. CHC offers training opportunities for counselors, social workers and chemical dependency professionals. Sessions are held at CHC’s Adult Treatment Center at 725 E. Market Street, Akron (unless otherwise noted). Registration is held 30 minutes prior to each session.
Each training offers two or more approved educational hours. Last year’s programming schedule included: diversity, dialectical behavior (DBT), grief and loss, narcotic identification, social media ethics and supervision and de-escalation (Alice). A complete list for 2019 will be provided once all trainings are approved by the necessary state boards.
CHC Addiction Services is an approved provider of Continuing Education Units by the State of Ohio CSWMFT Board to provide Counselor (#RCX 089008) and Social Worker (#RSX 049501) hours. Community Health Center is an approved provider of Recognized Clock Hours (RCHs) by the State of Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board (PID #50-18188).
